Instructions:
Twist the mouthpiece until it lines
up with the voice you need. J -
Jackrabbit (long range), C -
Cottontail (medium range), CX -
Coaxer (close range).
Place the call
between your thumb and index finger.
Close your hand over the end of the
call and blow hard while opening
your hand at the same time to
produce loud, terrified screams.
Close your hand to muffle the
sounds, open your hand to amplify.
The goal is to mimic the sounds of
an injured or dying animal.
Make a series of 8-10 calls, wait
one minute, and then repeat.
The
Jackrabbit sound is best used in the
open field to start the predator
your way. The Cottontail is
for medium range calling and is best
used in wooded areas. Finally,
the Coaxer is used to lure the
predator even closer for the kill.
